A few additional resources for Taughannock Falls:

Earth Science Picture of the Day has several Taughannock images with descriptive information. May 25, 2005 shows an aerial view of the park with sediment flowing out into Cayuga Lake. There are actually multiple photos of Taughannock linked from the page for the day. Search ESPoD site for more on Taughannock. Use a search engine to find many, many more images. Use them with permission, please. (Permission is granted for any of Don's photos found within this site).

Page 3 ends with a few of panoramas. I'm fairly new to making panoramas and you can tell, but they may still be useful for capturing the bigger picture. Note that I attempted a panorama of the falls, but had problems worse than the panorama up the shale slope (here). I found better Taughannock panoramas online, especially the one from Learning to Fly Originals. There are many nice panoramas on the site.

Taughannock Falls was the site of one of our field trips during the teacher institute and there are many pictures taken by the involved teachers here.
